Question

Will the ceremony and reception be held in the same place?

Answer

Once you arrive at Dreamcatcher Meadows, follow the signs to the ceremony/reception area. The ceremony and subsequent cocktail hour will be held on the lower lawn next to the Lillooet river. The reception will be held in the open air entertainment barn right next to the lower lawn. There is also an events chalet on the property which is off-limits to guests.

Question

What's the deal with the bar?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be held from 4:00-6:00pm down on the lower lawn where we will be serving rose and other canned beverages. There will be additional bar service starting at 4:00pm at the Silo Bar, which is located across from the reception area. Cocktail hour will be open bar and wine will be provided during dinner. After dinner, we will be switching to a drink tickets system, where guests will be able to buy 4 drink tickets for $20. Importantly, the bar will be CASH ONLY, so please make sure to BRING CASH IF YOU CHOOSE TO BUY DRINKS FOLLOWING DINNER. Last call will be 11:00pm, with the bar officially closing at 11:30pm.

Question

What will the weather be like? How should I prepare?

Answer

July is usually quite hot in Pemberton! Please remember to wear sunscreen and drink lots of water. We will have water stations throughout the venue. Cocktail hour will take place on the lower lawn where there are plenty of shaded areas and the reception will take place under the covered, open-air entertainment barn.

Question

There is no cell reception on site. Will there be wifi?

Answer

Yes! Dreamcatcher Meadows has wifi available to guests.

Question

I'm camping! When should I arrive? And what are the ground rules?

Answer

Campers are welcome to arrive at the venue on Friday, July 18th anytime after 5:00pm. Please enter the campsite through the venue entrance along Wilson Rd (see travel section for map and more details). Glamping tents will be set up for guests that have rented one and there will be lots of space for personal tents, car camping, RVs, and trailers. Please be respectful of our hosts who also live on the property - keep noise to a minimum after 10pm, ensure all food is secured in your car or camper overnight, absolutely no fires, and please remove all trash and recycling before leaving. Remember to bring your own water as there is no potable water available on the premises. Please make sure to vacate the venue by 12pm on Sunday, July 20th. We are so excited for our campers to have a truly unique wedding experience in the Pemberton Valley and look forward to camping with ya’ll on Saturday night!

Question

Are there showers available for campers?

Answer

We have rented a bathroom trailer located next to the Silo Bar and the entertainment barn, which has toilets, sinks, and showers. The washroom trailer only has capacity for a limited number of showers, so please try and take as short of a shower as possible (or even better shower at a friend’s hotel room). The bathroom will be cleaned on Saturday, July 19th from 1-2pm so the bathrooms will be inaccessible at that time.

Question

Will there be children at the wedding?

Answer

We love your kids! But we kindly ask that you leave them at home for our wedding weekend. Please reach out if your little one is too young to be babysat.

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

There is a designated smoking area on the premises and smoking in any other location is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. If you are using the smoking area, please be mindful as we are in peak wildfire season.
