Four Mile Point Preserve
A longer walk continues on along 4 Mile Point Road as it winds beside the river and through Vosburg Swamp, a protected wildlife management area. Hannacroix Creek Preserve features 4 main trails taking you along the creek and through native woodlands. Irving Trail takes you down to the New Baltimore swimming hole. Another nice swimming waterhole in the Catskills is in Leeds, NY. Willows at Brandow Point is a hike through expansive wildflower fields and then down through forested land until you reach the river. If you like chasing waterfalls a visit to the Kaaterskill Falls is a must, closely followed by the nearby North-South Lake.
