Where is Holman Ranch?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at the stunning Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley, California—just 12 miles inland from Carmel-by-the-Sea. Tucked into the rolling hills and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, Holman Ranch feels like a tucked-away slice of wine country paradise. You’ll find the address and directions on our Travel page! We chose Holman Ranch because of it’s rustic charm, sweeping views, and a laid-back California elegance. Our ceremony will be on the lawn with views of the valley, followed by a courtyard cocktail hour, and a beautiful night of dinner and dancing. What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us for our big day! Our dress code is Formal—which means you’re welcome to go all out, but there’s no pressure. A dark suit and tie or a cocktail or long formal dress is perfectly appropriate. Think polished, celebratory, and fancy—whatever helps you feel your best while celebrating with us! Don’t be afraid to wear something fun and sassy—Maren would love it! Dress to impress, and let your personality shine. A few helpful notes: Please avoid wearing white. Our bridesmaids will be in ivory, so we kindly ask that you steer clear of white or similar shades. Our ceremony will take place on grass, so stilettos are not permitted. If you’d like to wear heels, please choose wedges or block heels. The wedding is in early November, and evenings in Carmel Valley can be chilly. We recommend bringing a warm coat or stylish layer to stay cozy once the sun goes down. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Is There Transportation Arranged to Holman Ranch?

Answer

Yes, we encourage all guests to use the shuttles provided! Please see the 'Transportation and Travel' tab above. The shuttles will pick up passengers at the designated bus pickup area outside of Carmel Plaza. If you choose to take the shuttle, you’ll need to promptly depart with it, as rideshare services like Uber or Lyft are nearly impossible to secure in Carmel Valley after 10 PM when the celebration ends. Thank you for planning accordingly—we’re excited to celebrate with you!

Is There Parking at the Venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue. Guests are welcome to park in the Guest Parking Lot at the venue. Guests can leave their car parked at Holman Ranch until 8 am Sunday morning. Holman Ranch will tow your car if not picked up by 8 am.

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Due to guest list capacity, we’re unable to accommodate additional plus ones unless specifically noted on your RSVP.

Are Children Welcome?

Answer

While we adore the children in our lives, we are unable to invite all our event. Our wedding will be an adults-only event, with the exception of children in the wedding party. We hope this allows you to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us! Thank you for understanding.
