We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you. Almost all of the museums in Washington DC are free, and there are several other free (and cheap!) activities that we recommend around the city.

Walk around the National Mall and check out the monuments and reflecting pool.

National Mall

Lots of great window shopping, restaurants, and walks along the Potomac River.

Georgetown

There are several Smithsonian museums around DC, and all offer free admission. Some of our favorites are The National Museum of African American History and Culture, National Air and Space Museum, The National Zoo, and The Renwick Gallery.

14th Street Northwest has lots of great restaurants and shops. Take the green line from Navy Yard to the U Street stop.
