What is the attire?

Wedding attire is semi-formal. No denim please!

Answer

Children are not invited to the ceremony, however we welcome them to join us for the reception!

Where do I park for the ceremony?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony will be located on William and Mary's Campus in the "Plant Parking Lot". To get directions, please use this address: Facilities Management Warehouse, 119 Grigsby Dr, Williamsburg, VA 23185 The lot is about a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the Wren Building. Handicap and Guest-Drop off locations are located at the Ewell Circle Parking Lot. The address is: Ewell Hall, 221 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185.

How far is the Wren from the Williamsburg Winery?

Answer

The Williamsburg Winery is located about 4.5 miles from the Wren Building. With traffic, this drive can take up to 15 minutes. Please plan accordingly.

What if I'm running late for the ceremony, what door should I enter?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to "duck in the back". The chapel doors open directly to the smaller ceremony space. Plan your transportation time to allow for getting there, parking, and sitting down with time to spare! If you are running late, we cannot guarantee that you will be permitted into the chapel once the ceremony has started.

What are your good sides? I want to film the wedding on my phone.

We kindly ask that all cell phones be put away during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture us in our best light and want to assure that Greg can see Gwen walking down the aisle without phones blocking his view.

Is there a wedding hotel?

Answer

Being located in a tourist area, we have not designated a specific wedding hotel. Feel free to book in the area based on your family budget and needs. If you need help with suggestions, we're more than happy to assist!

What else should I know?

Answer

There is ample parking at the Williamsburg Winery. Consider dropping vehicles off at the Winery and then carpooling to and from the ceremony!
