Please RSVP no later than May 31st, 2024.
Yes, please visit the travel section of the website. We have contact information listed for the local hotel we have blocked off. If you have trouble finding accommodations, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
We have not arranged any transportation for guests. The ceremony will be held half a mile from the hotel. You are welcome to book a shuttle, carpool with other guests, grab a rental car and have your own wheels for the weekend, or take a nice summer walk along the water. There is also a Park and Ride lot a mile up the road that you can park in (Park and Ride Dyckesville: Rock Falls Rd, Luxemburg, WI 54217). Since we are getting married on a private street there is not parking available for guests there.
We are recommending that you dress light as this is an outdoor summer wedding on the water and it could get a little toasty. The theme is Wildflowers and will have a bohemian hippie vibe to it. Please feel free to wear bright colors and flowy fabrics. This is still a formal event but you can ditch the suit and tie. We recommend coming barefoot but if you want to wear shoes we recommend sandals of some sort.
Yes, as people who have dietary restrictions we want to make sure everyone is comfortable. Please text or email us with any food allergies or restrictions so we can help ensure you have options over the weekend and are comfortable. You can text us or email us at Betrothery2024@gmail.com
Absolutely. Our kids will be involved the entire weekend and would love more kiddos to celebrate with. Please RSVP with your kids if you plan to bring them. There are also some family suites available at the Painted Pelican that larger groups can reserve. Please be advised there will be open containers of alcohol at the events.
We are getting married on a private drive with limited parking. We will help arrange carpooling and will help direct you to the nearby carpool lot where people can leave their cars.
We are hosting a rehearsal dinner on Friday that all guests are invited to attend. The following Sunday we are hosting a Brunch that all guests are also invited to.
Depending on travel companions and your schedule, that is up to your discretion. We will be in town ahead of the weekend to prepare. We recommend getting in sometime on Friday during the day and planning to leave sometime on Sunday or Monday.
