Gregory and I first met on Novemeber 5th, 2017, at Newk’s on 280. I had just left a service at Church of the Highlands and Greg had just finished rounding at Grandview hospital. I spotted him in navy scrubs and he spotted me in a furry vest — the rest is history! Fast forward to New Year’s Eve 2018... Greg and I had such a blast spending the weekend in Nashville visiting with his sister and her fiance! We had spent the day exploring Franklin and decided to have a romantic evening with a candle light dinner! After a yummy dinner, Greg said that he had a surprise for me and told me to close my eyes! After a few seconds I opened my eyes to see a black book with a picture of us on the front in his hands. He said that he had been spending some time making this book as a way for us to celebrate our memories together from this past year! I opened the book to find a timeline of our date nights and travels together! He had written about our dates together over the past year and included it beside each picture! It was fun to read his thoughts about our dates and travels and see our pictures together! He wrote in this book that he had been praying for a Proverbs 31 wife and the very last picture lead up to the passage verse of Proverbs 31 verses 10-31 — a passage of the Virteous Wife! That was the end of the timeline and he closed the book and got on his knee and said that he was crazy about me! He asked if I would be his forever teammate and Proverbs 31 wife! Que the surprise and tears!! Of course I jumped with joy and sealed the deal with a kiss and a yes!! We are so thankful for all the prayers, love, and support from our families and friends over this past year! Thank you all for pouring into our lives and loving us so well! We look forward to celebrating our day with everyone!!
