FAQs

Question

What date is the wedding and where is it?

Answer

Join us on Saturday, June 20th at Glass House. 145 N Holden St. Minneapolis

Question

What time should I get there?

Answer

Come for mocktails and mingling at 5:00 pm. Ceremony starts promptly at 5:30.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We've kept our guest list intentionally intimate for the ceremony and dinner. We're celebrating with the names listed on each invitation. Dance floor later? Check in with us when you RSVP- we'll probably be down for some crashers.

Question

What does "semi-formal attire" mean for this wedding?

Answer

Think polished, but not stuffy. This is your chance to dress up, look fabulous, and still feel comfortable enough to dance, laugh, and celebrate two grooms who clearly have excellent taste. Have fun with it! Bring the color. Bring the personality. Florals, bold patterns, jewel tones, bright suits, statement dresses—this is a celebration, not a board meeting. Examples we love: • Colorful suits or blazers • Patterned shirts or ties • Bright cocktail dresses • Fun prints (floral, geometric, tropical, etc.) • Stylish jumpsuits • Pocket squares that make a statement This is a gay wedding, after all—style is basically part of the guest requirements. Express yourself, be bold, and wear something that makes you feel confident. When in doubt, aim for “stylish wedding guest” rather than “casual Friday.” If you look in the mirror and think, “Wow, I clean up nice,” you’re ready. If your outfit sparks joy or makes you feel fabulous, you’re doing it right.

Question

Is there anything I shouldn't wear?

Answer

We trust your judgment… mostly. But just in case, please avoid: • Super casual clothes (jeans, hoodies, gym wear, flip-flops) • Anything you’d wear to mow the lawn or run errands • Costumes (unless you are somehow a glamorous costume) As an FYI, the grooms and groomswomen will be in various shades of green and groomsmen will be in tan suits.

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Free parking is available! The venue has a lot with 65 spots. The nearby Farmer's market has 75 spots. In addition, there is street meter parking. Planning to drink? Please consider a DD or Uber/Lyft. See the link on the Travel page for more parking information.

Question

What should I expect for food?

Answer

We are thrilled to have Gastrotruck cater our wedding. After some amazing appetizers are passed around, there will be multiple dinner stations. One station will feature two different mouthwatering sliders. Another station will have a couple taco options that are bomb. There will also be a mac and cheese bar to die for. Of course there will be food for our vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free friends. Will dessert happen? Duh. Will there be a traditional cake? Not our style. Angel Food will be coming through with multiple options that will satisfy everyone's sweet tooth.

Question

What about beverages?

Answer

Our wedding won't be an open bar, but you won't be left thirsty. There will be multiple specialty crafted mocktails and cocktails available for purchase along with a variety of beers and THC seltzers.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a room block at the Lofton Hotel Minneapolis- across from the Target Center. Check out the link on the travel page of our website. The hotel is a 12 minute walk to the Glass House or a short Uber ride. Live locally? Don't let that stop you from staying overnight. The hotel is happy to modify the length of the stay, if needed.

Question

Are you doing anything Friday night before the wedding?

Answer

Out of town guests and locals are invited to join us at Modist Brewing Co. for a drink or two around 7 pm. Modist is located within walking distance of the Lofton Hotel at 505 N 3rd. St. in Minneapolis.

Question

Is there anything happening on Sunday morning after the wedding?

Answer

Didn't get a chance to see enough of us during the wedding? Join us at the Tangle Town room of the Lofton Hotel on Sunday, 6/21 between 8 and 11. Continental breakfast options will be available.
