Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the beach approximately 25-30 minutes prior to the ceremony. This will ensure we have everyone in place before the ceremony begins.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! While we want all our guests to be comfortable we ask the following dress etiquette is observed. Gentlemen: Collared shirts are requested. Shorts are OK - please no jean shorts if possible. Hawaiiain shirts are also perfectly fine to wear! Shoes are optional for the beach ceremony but required for the reception. Ladies: Summer dresses, modest blouses, pantsuits, Hawaiiain shirts, and slacks are all acceptable. Shoes are optional for the beach ceremony but required for the reception. Please no swimsuits.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Each party will be responsible for securing their own transportation. This will include securing transportation to and from the airport and to any spots around the island.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at both the beach and the reception venue. For parking near the beach please note you may need to street park at a meter or park in a garage. Depending where your hotel is you may be able to leave the car at the hotel and walk to the beach!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a photographer present and we will also be handing out a few disposable cameras for guests to shoot moments of the day and return to us. We ask that if you do take photos you are respectful to those around and that you do not disrupt the ceremony. We will also try and take as many photos as possible with any one who would like one.

Question

Why does my invite say "Reception Only"?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to state regulations and venue space availability, only 30 people are allowed under our ceremony permit. We love and cherish each of our guests and we cannot wait to join you at the reception!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are several local hotels that offer lower rates than the one we are staying at. If you need specific recommendations please reach out to Greg or Christian. Costco Travel is a great resource as well and we highly recommend it! If you have any reward credit cards you can look into redeeming rewards for booking travel.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes and no. You are welcome to bring a date or travel companion, however, unless they are listed on the invitation there will not be room for them at the ceremony. They are welcome to join for any after-party. If you'd like them to join at the reception please reach to Greg to see if we are able to accommodate them.

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes, please check that tab for registry items. Do to it being a destination wedding we do ask that any larger items be shipped to our home address (please reach out to Greg if you need it). Small and monetary gifts can be brought to the ceremony! We understand everyone making the trip out can be a lot so while all gifts are appreciated we are not expecting any! We are happy to celebrate in person with you all! :)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

You are welcome to travel with as many people as you'd like - however, only guests listed on the invitation will be able to attend the ceremony and reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The reception will likely be buffet style so we cannot guarantee any special requests. If you have any special needs, please reach out to Greg individually and we will see what we are able to do!
