M.S. Dixie II
In the past we enjoyed a scenic sunset dinner cruise on the lake. We plan to do this again on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Please consider joining us for this fun evening on the lake. Cruise is from 6-9pm. If you would like to join us, please purchase tickets online and show up early so we can make sure we are all seated together. When purchasing, select "no pickup" for transportation and if possible, please carpool with other guests to Zephyr Cove.
Heavenly Mountain Resort
Take the gondola to the top, take in the aerial views of Lake Tahoe. It's truly spectacular! Activities available: alpine rollercoaster, hikes, scenic view points, and après-ski without the skiing.
Kiva Beach
Great walk to the water, with a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It's dog friendly! The US Forest Service maintains several historic sites along this shoreline; Tallac and Valhalla homes.
Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw)
Home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Enjoy a cable car ride to the mountain summit and play in the snow while wearing shorts. Beautiful views, easy walking/hiking, food & drinks, and dog friendly too!
Lake Tahoe
The water will be too cold to swim in this time of year but we've enjoyed plenty of on lake activities. Kayak and motorboat rentals are available in marinas around the lake.
