Travel Note
We are excited to share with our guests downtown Denver and the River Garden Winery. The winery is located 40 minutes north of Denver. It may be most convenient to stay in Brighton, CO, however downtown Denver is just a hop, skip and jump away with plenty of options for lodging and easy transportation to and from.
Shuttle
August 11, 2018 4:00 pm - 12:00 am
Transportation to and from the ceremony for all guests is available from 4 PM to 6 PM and returning guests at the end of the night from 10 PM to 12 AM. The pick up and drop off location for the shuttle is Brighton Fairfield Inn & Suites and is a great meeting place for those staying elsewhere, coming from downtown, or plan on taking an Uber or Lyft. Onsite parking at the winery is available for guests who'd like to drive, although we hope everyone will partake in the fun and therefore recommend a plan for a safe ride home.
Hotel
This will be the main hotel where we will be staying. Rooms are blocked underneath Eder-Westerholm and the link below takes you straight to where you can book. Last day to book at discounted rates is 7/20/18. We also have discounted rates at the downtown Denver Warwick hotel. Email annamarieeder@gmail.com for courtesy link. There are many other hotels available if you prefer in Brighton or downtown - just rely on our good friend Google to lend a hand.
Flight
You'll want to fly into Denver International Airport. Tips for getting cheap flights to Denver: *Book several months in advance *Trying shopping on a Tuesday *Use Google Flights to compare options *Southwest deals to Denver are often $200 or less roundtrip If you are headed to Brighton you can grab a Lyft or an Uber. If you are heading to Denver, you can take the A Line Train straight from the airport to downtown's Union Station for $9 one way - follow the signs at the airport.
House Or Rental
Airbnb.com and VRBO.com are great options as well. Especially for big groups wanting to stay together and save some $$!
Rental Car
Car rentals are available at the Denver Airport. Uber or Lyft (both convenient, inexpensive and safe taxi services) are a great way for getting around as well - just download the app! It's a $35 trip one way from the airport to downtown and even less to Brighton. Uber and Lyft are especially useful if you do not intend to rent a car or if you are traveling to and from downtown Denver.
Travel Note
If staying in Brighton, there is a historic downtown area with walkable shops and places to stop for a quick drink. If heading to downtown, here is a list of our favorites: *Union Station *Larimer Square *Pub on Penn (our favorite dive bar) *Red Rocks for a short morning hike *Rent bikes from Denver B-Cycle *Lots of local breweries to hop *A strong Bloody Mary at Sam's No. 3 *Dinner at any steakhouse on 16th street (lots of options) where we've spent many a date nights
