Each guest must have either (a) a vaccination series completed no later than July 16, 2021; (b) proof of a negative PCR Test within 72 hours of the event; or (c) proof of a negative Rapid Test within 6 hours of the event. Guests who have not been vaccinated are required to wear a mask at all times except when eating or drinking. Guests who are vaccinated may choose to wear a mask or not to feel most comfortable. There will be a check-in at the venue to validate your status. Given what we know now about the number of guests who are already vaccinated, we are encouraged that nearly 100% will be fully vaccinated by July 31!
As of June 15, NY State is allowing weddings and events at Giorgio’s for our full guest list. We expect approximately 200 people.
Guests who have not been vaccinated are required to wear a mask at all times, except while eating or drinking. Guest who have received the complete vaccination series can choose whether or not to wear a mask.
There are several indoor rooms and various outdoor spaces. You will be able to move freely throughout the venue in any way you feel comfortable.
We will have both cocktail and dining tables during the reception. Tables will be set in “zones.” As of this date, each dining zone is about 36 square feet in size and 6 feet apart from any other zone.
You may choose to dance either on the dance floor or elsewhere at the venue, including by your table with others assigned to your table. Masks must be worn while dancing by guests who are not vaccinated.
The team at Giorgio’s is working diligently to make sure our wedding is safe and in compliance with NY State requirements: A compliance manager will be present to make certain everyone is following social distancing etiquette. All staff are tested prior to each event and their temperature is checked every hour. Giorgio’s HVAC filter is changed regularly to increase outdoor airflow. A professional cleaning crew disinfects all spaces before and after each event, to make sure every surface is treated with a protective touch barrier that is proven to kill the corona virus. There are floor markings and posted signs for social distancing and when using the restroom or any other high traffic areas. In addition, there are plexiglass barriers in accordance with OSHA guidelines, Hand Sanitizer Stations throughout the entire facility, designated cleaners for commonly touched surfaces, Personal Protective Equipment worn by all staff, ongoing cleaning and disinfection procedures for the restrooms.
