The Fourth of July is the beginning of high season in Maine. We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid high prices.

Flight

Portland International Jetport (PWM)

Boothbay is roughly 90 minutes north of Portland and 3 hours north of Boston. We recommend flying into Portland (PMW) or Boston Logan (BOS) and renting a car. Reach out if you'd like help coordinating a group to split a rental. There is plenty of parking at both Newagen and Ocean Gate.

Ocean Gate Inn

Ocean Gate Inn is Newagen's sister property on the north end of Southport Island. A shuttle will run between the two for all of the weekend's events. Breakfast in included with your stay, but can also be enjoyed at Newagen if you'd like to join the group on-property. Enjoy the Maine outdoors with Ocean Gate's kayaks, paddleboards, mini-golf, fire pits, and other activities. It's close to the bridge that leads back towards Boothbay Harbor. We recommend booking a room in the Dockside or Driftwood building.

Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Inn

This is a great spot if you'd prefer to stay in the center of town. There is a nice waterfront restaurant called Coastal Prime on the property.

If you'd like to rent a larger accommodation, there are a number of Airbnbs on Southport Island. The wedding events will be at Newagen Seaside Inn, on the southern tip of the island. Boothbay Harbor is also a short drive away.
