Dalton and Katherine’s story began when they decided to go country line-dancing with a group of friends one evening. Although Katherine has two-left feet and swing dancing is more of Dalton’s style, they spent the evening dancing, laughing and spinning around the dance floor. Fast-forward 11 months later to Katherine’s birthday. Dalton told Katherine he wanted to take her to dinner for her birthday. Before going home to change for dinner, Dalton handed Katherine a note. She was instructed to let her sister Mikaela know when she was ready for dinner and then open the letter. Perplexed, excited and curious, Katherine finished getting ready for the evening and informed Mikaela she was ready to go. After opening the letter, Katherine read a note ending in a riddle. She had to solve the riddle to find the first destination. After solving the riddle, Mikaela drove Katherine to Chuy’s, Dalton and Katherine’s very first date. Once they had arrived at the restaurant, Mikaela handed Katherine her next note. The next riddle was read and once solved, Mikaela chauffeured Katherine to the next location. The two drove all around Nashville; each location a different place that Dalton and Katherine shared an unforgettable date night together. The last clue lead the two to Opryland where Dalton was waiting. The two wandered around the atrium, reminiscing of the last year together. It was there in the candlelit gazebo at Opryland that Dalton got down on one knee and proposed. To no ones surprise, it took Katherine 0.0005 seconds to say yes. Now Dalton and Katherine are ready to enter into this exciting next chapter of their lives and would love with the help of their family and close friends.
