Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our wedding will be at Whalehead Club, 1100 Club Rd, Corolla, NC 27927 and reception will follow.

How do I get to Corolla?

Answer

The Outer Banks is accessible by car. The closest major airports are Norfolk International Airport (ORF) and Raleigh-Durham (RDU). We recommend renting a car for the easiest travel.

What should I wear?

Answer

Think summer formal/coastal cocktail - light fabrics, breezy dresses, linen suits, and comfortable shoes for sand and grass. Heels are not recommended for the beach.

will the ceremony be on the beach?

Answer

No! The ceremony will be outdoors, but not on the beach. Expect sand, sun, and the breeze off the sound.

Is there a backup plan if it rains?

Answer

Yes - there is a rain plan in place. Any updates will be shared on the wedding website and via our wedding party if needed.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We've reserved room blocks and listed recommended hotels and rental areas on the Travel page. Book early, June is peak season in the OBX.
