Wedding Party

Malorie Elisabeth Greenspan

Bride

The future Mrs. Petrovitz

Andrew William Petrovitz

Groom

The future husband to Malorie

Jessica Kristin Jachemcyzk

Maid of Honor

Jessica “Jess” Jachemczyk (aka Jessie J, aka Yessica, aka bestie of Shmallie™) Jess and Malorie met at SUNY Cortland when Jess asked Malorie to be physiology lab partners. As Jess tells it, she saw Malorie from afar and knew right away she wanted to be friends with her. Naturally they became best friends almost immediately. Jess is the radiant blonde bombshell who walks into a room and instantly becomes everyone’s favorite person without even trying. Her energy is magnetic and her laugh is contagious. She is quirky in all the best ways—like drunkenly eating leftover risotto in bed with a measuring spoon because there were no forks in sight (a core memory Malorie will never forget). Jess is the kind of friend who makes you feel like you’re the most important person in the world. Whether she’s hand-decorating custom cookies for your BBQ, unpacking your car for you without you even asking when you get to the Air BnB, or whipping out whatever random tool, accessory, or gadget you need at any given moment (seriously, whatever you need, she has it and she WILL help you), she is and always will be the ultimate girls’ girl. She gives her time, her creativity, and her whole heart to the people she loves. If scientists were to design the perfect best friend in a lab, the result would be Jessica Jachemczyk—pure sunshine, pure heart, and pure fun. Malorie is endlessly grateful to have Jess not only by her side today, but in every wild, beautiful, and random chapter of life.

Nicholaus Joshua Polemeni

Best Man

Nicholaus “Nick” Polemeni — Best Man, Best Friend Nick and Andrew (aka APetz to Nick) met in circa 2011 at a house party and became best friends immediately—Step Brothers Style. “Did we just become best friends?” “YUP.” Andrew loves Nick for a hundred reasons, but mostly because he’s real, loyal, and unapologetically himself. He’s the kind of friend who shows up, says exactly what he’s thinking, and makes everyone laugh while doing it. As a dad to Mila Grace, Nick has surprised absolutely no one by being all in—protective, patient, and totally wrapped around her finger. People love Nick because he’s honest, hilarious, and has zero interest in pretending to be anything other than who he is—and that’s exactly why he’s impossible not to like. The friendship between Nick and APetz isn’t subtle. You can tell in five minutes that they’d go to war for each other—especially when $3 Captain and Cokes from P&G’s start tasting like people are forgetting to say excuse me (if you know you know). Best man was never up for debate.

Abigale Theodora Greenspan

Maid of Honor

Abbey (Yes, just “Abbey” – if it was up to her she’d probably write “Just Abbey” on her tax forms) Abigale “Abbey” Greenspan is the bride’s little sister — She’s 12 years younger than Malorie, which means Malorie was navigating middle school while Abbey was just learning how to hold her head up. From the start, their relationship has been something beyond sisters — built-in best friends, Abbey basically having a 3rd parent, and an inexplicable bond that feels so much more special when you once thought you’d never get that special life experience of having a sister. Abbey works at a cake store, plans to go to college for physical therapy, is LITERALLY the MVP in volleyball and softball — and yet her greatest talents might be speaking in the weirdest voices imaginable and sneak-attacking people with random elbow pinches for absolutely no reason other than just being silly. She steals Malorie’s clothes and shoes like it’s a full-time job, but when she smiles — all is forgiven. And while she’s now driving, working, and inching closer to adulthood, Malorie can’t help but miss the days when she was just a little girl with sparkly sneakers and chubby cheeks, trying to do everything her big sister did. Being her sister is one of the proudest joys of Malorie’s life, and having Abbey stand beside her as Maid of Honor is just the next proud moment in line of many more to come.

Aaron Charles Kent

Groomsman

Aaron, aka “Papi Kent,” — a self proclaimed nickname he and he only refers to himself as. (It’s even tattooed on his leg). In class dramatic Aaron fashion, Aaron claims the first six months of knowing Andrew were spent exchanging dirty looks across the room—how accurate that is remains up for debate. What matters is what came after: a bond built on sarcasm, trash talk, and an unbreakable beer pong streak that started at a house party and never really ended. For over 15 years, Aaron has been the guy who’s always down for anything—always loaded with a sarcastic comment ready and a bottle of Clase Azul in hand. His loyalty is real, even if he’d rather lose another Jets season than say something sappy out loud. Aaron’s one of a kind humor, quick wit, sharp tongue, and endless debates over the Mets and Jets (versus the clearly superior Yankees and Giants) have made him more than just a friend—they’ve made him family. And yes, those sports arguments are still going strong… and still ending the same way. Between the 4 a.m. New Paltz nights and the countless good times (some remembered, some not), there was never a question that Aaron would be standing next to Andrew on his wedding day—even if he does whisper at least three sarcastic remarks about the tux, the ceremony, and this bio in between vows.

Renata Georgette Desmarais

Bridesmaid

Renata “Renatty” Desmarais— Best friend and three time coworker of the bride (Yes— Not one, not two, but three separate times they’ve worked together now). Renata and Malorie met working at McDonald’s when Malorie was 16. At first, their humor didn’t match (which is hard to believe because, if you’ve ever been around them together now, you know all they do is laugh). Renata was sarcastic and unbothered; Malorie was sensitive and confused. But over time they clicked. What started as coworkers with nothing in common turned into the kind of friendship people hope for. They’ve now worked together three times—first flipping burgers, then as caregivers, and now again as nurse and behavior specialist. It feels so special to have been side by side through their education and professional journey. Renata is actually the reason Malorie ended up at her current job, after dragging her to open interviews she didn’t want to attend. It changed everything—now here they are, still working together, still best friends, over a decade later. Renata is ambitious, loyal, and may secretly be the richest person at this wedding due to the absolutely insane amount of overtime she’s worked in the last ten years. She’ll never miss a party, but she will almost ALWAYS leave it with little to no warning. It’s somehow both jarring and yet perfectly on-brand. Classic Renata. She’s a good person, a better friend, and if you don’t get her humor, that’s a you problem. Dehydrate yourself and try again.

Christopher Michael Warrick

Groomsman

Chris and Andrew have been friends for years, but in more recent times, that friendship has grown into a true brotherhood. Always up for an adventure—especially if it involves a quick getaway—Chris is known for his loyalty, his chill energy, and his “down-for-whatever” attitude. He proudly claims he can make it from New Windsor to Poughkeepsie in 15 minutes flat. Is it true? Probably not. But everyone lets him have that one, because whenever Andrew and Malorie see something wild going down in Poughkeepsie, they know exactly who to call: their trusty police officer best friend. Chris is the guy who never lets the group settle down quietly. Even when everyone says it’s time to take a break, he’s right there saying, “Let’s go to Sal’s, then Mr. P’s!” His enthusiasm is impossible to ignore—and that’s exactly what makes him such a vital part of the crew. (JK— he absolutely hates the dive bar scene and much prefers the club. But the loyal loving friend that he is, he goes for Mal and Drew anyway). Chris brings loyalty, laughter, and the kind of memories and inside jokes that last a lifetime. Andrew couldn’t imagine standing at the altar without him by his side.

Korinne Nicole Scirosci

Bridesmaid

Korinne— self-proclaimed Rin — is Malorie’s best friend from college and the emotional support party animal of the group. She’ll cry over a touching commercial and then rally everyone for tequila like nothing happened. She’s heart warmingly sensitive, unintentionally hilarious, and often the butt of an inside joke she hates to love and loves to hate (see: Brian’s never-ending “Crying Korinne” saga), but is always a good sport for the good of the laugh. Korinne is a ride or die- Lovable, loyal, hilarious, and always down for a good time. She’s the first to say yes to brunch, shots, and will always be the hype woman you need. Her go-to? Tequila. Thanks to tequila, she once fell asleep upright on a barstool in the middle of Tavern 23. And yet, guess who rallied after they woke up. She is a true champ. Korinne is a loyal teddy bear in human form. She’s warm, loyal, and someone you can cry to, laugh endlessly with, or split a pizza with at 2 a.m. She will defend those she loves to the ends of the earth. She’s the friend you hold onto for life, and Malorie is the luckiest to have her by her side.

Ariel Daniel White

Groomsman

Ariel and Andrew have been friends since they were just eight years old, when Ariel rode by Andrew’s new house on his bike, recognized him from school, and stopped to say hello. That one moment kicked off a friendship that’s lasted a lifetime. While plenty of kids from the neighborhood hung out after school, it was Andrew and Ariel who built something deeper—a bond that carried through the chaos of their teens, the growth of their twenties, and every gym trip, mall run, late-night bar outing, and life milestone in between. Through good times and bad, Ariel has always been there. Ariel is known for his free spirited attitude and his uncanny ability to somehow make it happen no matter the obstacle. Ariel drove 12 hours just to be at Andrew and Malorie’s engagement party—no questions asked. That’s just who he is: dependable, thoughtful, and always showing up when it matters most. Of course, Ariel is also proudly vegan—and if you somehow forget that, don’t worry, he’ll remind you (probably while offering unsolicited kale facts). But beyond the jokes, Ariel has grown into an incredibly loving and grounded father to his daughter, Cherokee, who has completely reshaped his view on life in the best way possible. A consistent presence and a lifelong friend, Ariel was never not going to be standing beside Andrew on this day

Carly Rose Frank

Bridesmaid

Carly “Calorie Half No. 2” Frank Malorie’s blonde twin, nursing partner, and personal comedian. They met in 2017 through Carly’s mom (Malorie’s then boss), but it wasn’t long before Carly went from daughter of the boss to best friend. Now, they work together as a nursing team. Carly, Malorie, and together, Calorie. Yes, Calorie. An individual they support at work combined Malorie and Carly and collectively refers to them as a unit called Calorie. Who could think of a more painfully accurate label for two foodie blondes trying to be hot while also ordering mozzarella sticks both during AND after work. You can only laugh. Carly is shockingly calm in the face of literal insanity, silly as a goose, and shamelessly owns blonde stereotype in the most loveable way. She is the calming, grounding energy that perfectly balances Malorie’s crazy. She is the calm and peaceful half of Calorie. Everyone at work mistakes them for the same person— But Carly is her own person— and one of the most special people you’ll ever meet at that. She’s a perfect girl mom to little Hartlynn, a ride-or-die to Mitch, and the best coworker-best friend hybrid anyone could ask for. Carly has the kind of energy that makes hard days feel lighter and good days feel like a party. Malorie couldn’t survive work, or life, without her. They’re Calorie— they’re blonde, they’re in the mood for a snack, and they’re here to make memories for life.

Brandon Robert Greenspan

Groomsman

Brandon is the bride’s younger brother and Andrew’s future brother-in-law. Fresh off Brandon’s bachelor party in Atlantic City — where he and Andrew allegedly WRESTLED — it’s clear their bromance has entered a new, chapter. The moment is made even better by the childhood memory of Brandon having his WWE toy belt confiscated as punishment. Full circle: from being grounded for fake wrestling to fake wrestling at your own bachelor party. Growth.

Deirdre Kathleen Nolan

Bridesmaid

Deirdre “D” Nolan: The perfect prototype of the kind of girl an older sister hopes her brother ends up with. Deirdre is in school to be a lawyer and she is the full package: intelligent, loving, quick-witted, professionally polished during the day and an absolute force by night. She’s the absolute perfect fit to join the Greenspan family.
