We're getting married! Save the Date!

We met in Minnesota through my daughter's God mom. We realized we both had similar backgrounds: born in New York, raised in Florida, moved to Minnesota when we were adults. We had allot in common right away and it helped us form a connection. He pursued me first (matching bracelets, constantly being patient with me not having availability, and etc). Eventually he wore me down and before I knew it I had fallen head over heels for the man. "Guess you're my boyfriend now" were my exact words and then proceeded to shrug as we both laughed. We both agreed that through the form of our relationship we have overcome every obstacle life has dealt us and became stronger. We also agreed we wouldn't want to go through life with anyone else. Which is why he proposed to me Christmas eve in 2020. By then we were in Florida with our child visiting my mom. He really caught me off guard as I was wondering why the fridge door was left open lol. I guess I found out why. After that we started to plan but couldn't settle on a date. Then in 2023 we bought our first house. So we were preoccupied with that and forgot about the wedding. Now in 2025 we are full force in the wedding planning and finally have a date! I like to joke with Steven that we can't back out now that we have a date set! :D Forever stuck with each other but forever loving every minute of it! With excitement, MR. and FUTURE MRS. SCHECHTER
