The wedding weekend will take place at Star Meadows Ranch which is about 40 mins outside of Whitefish, Montana. The welcome party, brunch, ceremony, reception and after-party will all take place in one location.
Our venue has on site lodging and we would love for everybody to stay with us at Star Meadows Ranch (see below for more details). We plan to have a welcome party the night before the wedding. On wedding day, we will serve a brunch followed by typical wedding day activities. There will be yard games, campfires, hiking and biking on site at the venue. It is our goal to spend the entire weekend with our favorite people celebrating and spending time outside.
The venue (Star Meadows Ranch) includes on-site lodging and we would love for everybody to stay with us on-site. There are a variety of private rooms, wall tents, double queen rooms, A-frame cabins (for 6 people) and bunk rooms. Please refer to starmeadowsranch.com for photos of the lodging options. A couple rooms have private bathrooms, but the majority have shared bathrooms. There are 6 kitchens on site (plus an additional industrial kitchen for the caterers). We understand that it is very expensive to stay in Whitefish so we're offering this on-site lodging as a cheaper and more connected accommodation. The cost for on-site lodging is $125/person for the entire weekend (includes Friday and Saturday night). If you are staying in a bunk room (each bunk room sleeps 12 people), your cost will only be $100/person for the entire weekend. There will also be a limited number of camping sites (tent or camper) which are $25/site. There will be no cost for kids. If you would prefer more private accommodations, there are a variety of Airbnbs and hotels in the Whitefish area.
We will have welcome drinks and snacks on Friday September 18th. On the day of the wedding, we will serve a brunch at Star Meadows Ranch. At 4 pm, we will have a cocktail hour with appetizers and a typical reception dinner. Guests will be responsible for any additional snacks or meals. The on-site shared kitchens are fully equipped (serving utensils, plates, cookware etc) if you bring your own groceries for cooking breakfast or lunch.

If your child is included on your invitation, they are welcome and we plan to make the weekend very baby and kid friendly!
There will not be reliable phone service at the venue. There is wifi but it will not be reliably high speed for all of the guests to be using at the same time. Please plan accordingly.
The party starts with a welcome campfire on Friday night. There will be drinks, s'mores and other small appetizers. If you are unable to arrive this early, please indicate this on your RSVP and reference the timeline for wedding day.
