The Hidden Oak Café
This is a lovely cafe located inside the Manor House at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Shannon and Michele love to come here for tea and scones! Open for lunch and tea: Friday-Sunday: 11am-3pm
Del Fuego
One of Shannon and David's favorite haunts in Babylon! Delicious tacos and quesadillas. Shannon recommends the Birria quesadilla. Open: Friday & Saturday: 11:30am-10pm, Sunday: 11:30-9pm
Barrique Kitchen & Wine Bar
Lovely wine bar/cafe available for both lunch and dinner in Babylon. One of Shannon's go-to spots for dinner and cocktails! Open: Friday-Sunday: 3pm-11pm

Things To Do:
Sagamore Hill National Historic Site
Located in David’s hometown of Oyster Bay, Sagamore Hill was the home of the 26th president of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt. He lived there from 1885 until his death in 1919. Tours are available. Come explore the north shore! It’s just 45 minutes from your hotel!
Fire Island Lighthouse
Climb to the top of the tallest lighthouse in NYS! This beauty, perched on the sands of Robert Moses Beach, has been a beacon of light for 199 years. This is a 25 minute drive from your hotel to climb the lighthouse & have a stroll on the beach. (Note: to get there you have a .75 mile walk from the Robert Moses Beach Field 5 Parking Lot)
Bayard Cutting Arboretum
Your visit to LI is not complete without a stroll through this 691-acre former estate. Shannon, David, and the Green Family love coming to this gorgeous arboretum. The park includes an arboretum designed by Frederick Law Olmsted for William Bayard Cutting in 1886. The Manor House has windows designed by family friend Louis Comfort Tiffany. Lunch, tea and scones are served with a view over the great lawn at The Hidden Oak Cafe in the mansion. Best of all, it's a six minute drive from your hotel!
Long Island Maritime Museum
Charged with the mission of preserving Long Island's maritime history and heritage for educational purposes, the museum has been welcoming visitors from all over the world for over 50 years! This museum is located 14 minutes away from your hotel!

Tanger Outlets is a popular open-air outlet mall located 15 minutes from your hotel. It’s a great spot to take a stroll, or to grab that last minute outfit piece you were missing. Bonus: it is where Shannon and David first met on their first date!

Old Westbury Gardens
Old Westbury Gardens is a magnificent mansion surrounded by 200 acres of formal gardens, landscaped grounds, woodlands, ponds, and lakes. The set of many movies & weddings, this is a wonderful place to explore! The gardens are a 35 minute drive from your hotel.
Oheka Castle
Oheka Castle glittered as the second largest home ever built in America during the Gilded Age. Oheka now welcomes guests to stay and their restaurant serves lunch & dinner. Reservations are recommended. This mansion has been the setting for many movies & TV series.. Explore the glory days with a tour of this impressive landmark & its gardens. Oheka is a half hour drive from your hotel! (Note from Shannon: this is also where Taylor Swift filmed her "Blank Space" Music Video. Sick!!!)
