FAQs

Question

What is the difference between a nupital mass and a typical wedding ceremony?

Answer

As Catholics, we believe that matrimony is a sacrament. Therefore, our nuptial Mass will be one of the most sacred moments of our lives! We believe Jesus will be present during our Mass in the Eucharist. Therefore, we kindly ask guests to respect the reverence of the Mass in behavior and dress.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal. Think suits for men and floor-length dresses for women! We kindly ask our guests to dress modestly to respect the sacredness of the Lord's presence in St. James Cathedral. Please be considerate about necklines, dress slits, etc.

Question

What time should i arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony is set to start. This allows plenty of time for parking and getting settled before the Mass begins.

Question

Answer

The parking garage for the Cathedral is just a one minute walk from the church and completely free! It is located at 310 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.
