Not really. The coast in Northern California is pretty cold (beautiful, but cold.) The historical average is a high of 64 and a low of 49! So, bring your layers. If you are wearing a dress to the ceremony, you may want to bring some warmer layers to add and/or change into as it can get pretty cold at night.
The hardest wedding question to answer. We would say "fun formal" or "whatever makes you feel fabulous". If you want a more practical answer I would say "anything but jeans and a t-shirt unless they are really, really great jeans and a t-shirt", or "not more than one jean item unless you are going full canadian tuxedo," or "you know, like nice-ish."
There is some uneven ground, so we would suggest not wearing very significant heels. Specifically, there is a several-hundred meter walk from the wedding barn to the bluff where the ceremony will be, on a somewhat uneven dirt road. Could be the perfect wedding for your cutest pair of sneakers.
No. Since the reception meal is family style, you do not need to submit a meal preference. The menu includes a variety of options, including vegetarian and dairy free dishes. If you are vegan, gluten-free, or have a significant food allergy, please do send us an email so we can make sure to coordinate that information with the caterer.
Nonexistent, so do have alternate communication plans.
Friday is casual (like actually casual, not wedding-casual). You can wear anything you want, dress up or dress down as you please. Do bring layers.
