No, children are not invited. Our reception venue is strictly 21+, so children are not allowed. The only child who will be in attendance for the ceremony is our niece. Otherwise, this is a child-free wedding. The invitation and RSVP on the website specify who is invited. However, if not being able to travel with your children is a deterrent to you attending, we want to offer you another option. If any of our out of town guests would like, they can bring their children to the Welcome Event on Saturday and the Brunch on Monday for out of town guests and we could help arrange a qualified baby sitter for you in the hotel for the wedding on Sunday. Please let us know, we want you to come to our wedding!
This is a question for you. If anyone has trouble with stairs, please let us know. Our reception venue has a large staircase right in the entrance. There is an elevator available, but at a separate entrance in the back, so we have to arrange for someone to take you in the back way. Let us know if you would like to take advantage of this option and we will work with the venue to arrange it.
RSVP before the deadline on May 14th (although earlier is better!). RSVP by clicking on the "RSVP" tab on the website and searching for your name.
The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire. Here is a definition: Women: Generally, dresses from knee length to midi length. Floor length dresses can also count as cocktail attire, but would generally be less formal than a gown. Jumpsuits and suits would also count. Wear whatever you would like that fits the dress code (please no white), but if you would like extra guidance, both the ceremony and reception are indoors and the reception venue is on the darker side (less of a sundress vibe, more classy and sophisticated). High heels are fine, as long as you can walk around the corner from the ceremony to the reception and as long as you can dance! Men: Suits and ties.
Everyone is invited to both the wedding ceremony and reception. Out of town guests are also invited to a Welcome Event the night before and a Brunch the morning after.
You can bring a plus one if your invitation specified.
You can start arriving at 4:30 PM, 30 minutes before the ceremony.
