Rachel and Will first met at McBee High School. They talked and texted for months before finally going on a first date, which was an afternoon hike at 40 Acre Rock, a dinner at Cook Out, and a showing of Deadpool. They officially began dating in March of 2016, and the rest is history!

After Rachel's graduation, her family went on a trip to Europe to explore Paris and Rome. Little did she know, Will had plans to propose while they visited the Eiffel Tower. It was so romantic, and, of course, she said YES! Then, they celebrated as any rational person would in those circumstances by eating the most amazing Parisian pasta surrounded by family. It was a magical evening, and the rest of the trip was spectacularly spent as a newly engaged couple! August 2, 2019 is a day Will and Rachel will remember forever!

Rachel started her freshman year at the University of South Carolina, while Will worked and visited as often as he could. Will and Rachel went to Colorado in March of 2019 for their anniversary trip and fell in love with the state and the mountains. When they came back, they discovered COVID-19 shut down USC, and Rachel was finishing the rest of the school year remotely. During that period, they spent as much time together as possible and decided to get an apartment (and a 2nd dog) in Columbia. During the year at the apartment, they began house hunting, which was extremely difficult with the housing market. Through it all, they stuck together and found their dream home with a backyard for their two dogs and enough space for hosting their families and friends! Rachel is graduating a year early and decided that after 2 years engaged, maybe she should start planning their wedding. So, that is why you are reading this story because the wedding is happening, and it is happening SOON! We are so excited to celebrate our love with you in August.
