Where should I stay?

How do I get around town?

Answer

Wedding weekend festivities will occur around Geneva Lake. Transport options will be available to and from the ceremony and reception from select locations. See 'Travel' page. To get from the ceremony to the reception, guests are invited on a sunset cruise aboard the iconic Lady of the Lake. Note that rideshare services (eg. Uber, Lyft) are extremely limited. To avoid gaps in transport, consider the provided options, booking a car service, or coordinating rides with other guests.

Accessibility Considerations

Yerkes Observatory Yerkes has a handicap-accessible entrance as well as an accessibility lift to allow visitors with mobility challenges to bypass the entry stairs at our main entrance. The accessible entrance is located off of the main parking lot at the southeast corner of the building. The handicap entrance and lift are only accessible with a staff escort. Motorcoach Buses Wheelchair lift available. Boat Cruise The boat is accessible for wheelchairs on the main level. Please note the restrooms onboard can not accommodate a wheelchair. The Riviera Ballroom Elevator access to the ballroom is available on the north side of the building. Follow signs to the right of the main stairs.
