Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe on Bumble. From our very first conversation, we clicked. Everything felt so natural and easy, and before long, we found ourselves looking forward to each new message. After a few days of talking, Rory asked me out on a date, but I was so nervous about meeting him that it took me three days to finally say yes. Thankfully, he was patient, because that one "yes" changed everything. We met for our first date at Vu Tea, thinking it would just be a quick drink and some conversation. Three hours later, we were still talking, laughing, and completely unaware of how much time had passed. From there, we found every excuse to spend time together. Walking through art walks, going to the movies, bowling, playing mini golf, and creating memories that made us look forward to the next date before the current one was even over. As two teachers, we spend our days helping others learn, but neither of us expected to learn just how easy love could feel when you find the right person. Then, on a random Wednesday, Rory asked me to be his girlfriend. There was nothing particularly special about the day, except that it became one of my favorites. Since then, we've been inseparable. Somewhere between the tea, the laughter, the friendly competition, and all of our adventures, we found our best friend, biggest supporter, and forever person in each other. And now, we can't wait to begin our next chapter as husband and wife.
