From there, you can take a shuttle, taxi, or private transfer to Antigua, which is about an hour's drive away. Ladies: Antigua’s cobblestone streets can make high heels a bit challenging. We recommend wearing block heels, wedges, or dressy flats. Or, if you’ll be walking to the venue, consider carrying your heels and switching into them once you arrive.

The vow renewal ceremony will be held at Casa Troccoli, conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from our recommended hotels. We encourage you to take advantage of this short walk to enjoy the beautiful streets of Antigua. For your convenience, shuttles will be provided at night to transport guests back to the hotels after the celebration.

The easiest and most cost-effective way to get local currency (Quetzales) is by withdrawing cash from an ATM once you arrive in Guatemala. ATMs typically offer the best exchange rates. Just make sure to notify your bank ahead of time about your international travel. You can use credit cards at most restaurants and hotels in Antigua, but it's a good idea to carry cash for visits to markets, small local shops, or when buying from artisans. ATMs in Antigua: BAC Credomatic – Located near Parque Central, easy to access and reliable. Banco Industrial – Several branches throughout the city with secure ATMs. 5B ATMs – Common and usually accept international cards (look for machines inside grocery stores or banks). Banrural – Widely available but may have lower withdrawal limits.
