Although we have mutual friends and said hi to each other before, we met officialy in October of 2013. We were both invited to a Halloween party, I was dressed as a mermaid and he was dressed as the red Teletubby. I remember reaching into a cooler for a beer, blue Moon to be specific, but there were only New Castles left. I dislike the flavor of New Castles but still grabbed it. Then I asked my friend if she knew if there were more beer because I didn't like the one I had. However, a wise guy (Christian) heard our conversation and said he would trade his beer for mine, since he got the last Blue Moon. I gladly took the offer and went on with my friend. Christian later insisted that we dance, but I kept declining to dance with him. Until a song I really liked came on, I then agreed to dance with him. We danced a few songs after that. A few days later, I receive a friend request, and we began to message each other. He was funny, and I enjoyed talking to him. In December, we decided to go for a run at the beach, and we had a long conversation about our lives. We hung out a few more times; he invited me to a NYE party, he asked me to be his Valentine, then he invited me to a small family BBQ. That night on February 22, 2014 at around 10pm we were in his garage dancing and he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes, and that was the beginning of our story...
Christian was going to Colorado to work for a few weeks, so he said we should go have a nice dinner before he goes. The day before we went to the store because he wanted to buy a new shirt, and he insisted I get a nice dress. He bought me a new dress and new heels. Later he went to get a haircut and next door there was a nail shop, so he paid for me to get a Mani and Pedi. It was March 11th 2016, he arranged for his sister's friend to drop us off at the Perch restaurant in LA. I saw he had a bag, but I didn't question anything. We had a nice dinner at the rooftop restaurant and good champagne, Don Perignon (which was what was in the bag) He later "kept going to the restroom," but I didn't think much of it. He was really checking to see who had arrived to witness the proposal. Finally, the waitress came to me and said that Christian had found a nice spot by the fire, which is what we were waiting for. I got up as she led me to the staircase. Before going up, she handed me a card that Christian had wrote for me. I was only able to read half because it was dark and I was going up the stairs. As soon as I got up stairs, I seen all of my friends and his friends. I was shocked to see everyone. Christian immediately got down on one knee, and he asked me to be his wife. I said YES! I couldn't believe it and was in shock for a few minutes, filled with emotions. I was happy he invited all of our lovely friends and family. He did such a good job, and I can't wait to Marry the love of my life💗
