Over the past couple of months, we believe that God has been showing that a felt need in the church is a candid discussion around the theme of “Engaging a Polarized Culture”, with an emphasis on what it could look like for the church to be a force for cultivating a ‘common table’ in the midst of a deeply divided culture. As Christians, we believe the Church has a role to play in countering the rise of tribalism and weakening of civil discourse. If we refocus on loving our neighbors, learn to develop deep connections and relationships in a time of division, we can act as a bridge and push towards unity despite our differences.
