Matt and Jess met how so many meet in the digital age, online. Matt introduced himself as a gamer and designer, Jess as a photographer, designer and gamer. From there the connection jumped into real life! The two spent many days working on art together (PG guys!), playing video games and going to comic conventions. It wasn't long after becoming a couple that they adopted the two most amazing cats in the universe, Houdini and Gizmo! Matt and Jess have a relationship that stood up to the most difficult of situations and always had love and light on the other side. Their little family eventually became too much for the walls of their apartment to handle and the two looked for a house together, which is where this next chapter will start to take form!

The proposal was nothing short of unforgettable. The two had just put an offer in on a house and found out it was accepted. As they sat on the couch watching The Osbournes Matt told Jess to stand up, to which she replied "No babe, I'm watching this and my back is sore." He insisted and when she stood up he got down on his severely sunburnt knee and asked her to be his wife. The most important part of this entire story is that he had made sure to ask her father for his permission before he passed away, so he knew that his daughter was marrying the man that not only she had fallen in love with but the man her entire family and friends loved as well.
