High school sweethearts, our story began in tenth grade study hall where Summer first started to befriend Grayson. After a year of study hall they became friends. Grayson would escort Summer to photography, Summer would spend most of her time with Grayson in film class, they’d go to the art room when the school day was slow to listen to music and talk. July 7, 2010 we innocently began what is now almost nine years of true love, joy, and companionship. We've traveled the world, completed university, got our first apartment, and bought a car. We've had many adventures and we’re ready for what is to come.

At the start of their summer vacation at the cottage and on their 8th anniversary they woke up, let Odin outside, and brewed some coffee. Grayson asked Summer to walk the property with him as he often does. They both headed outside, in their pajamas, and coffee in hand. When they got near the water Grayson asked for a photo of Summer. As she turned away, she was perplexed as to why he wanted a photo of her standing in the yard in her pajamas, as she turned back around Grayson got on one knee. He proposed by the water in their favorite place. It was the perfect start to a blissful vacation.
