Sunriver Resort
There are tons of activities and things to do at the resort (aka why we love it so much). You'll have access to bike, kayak, and paddle board rentals, as well as access to various pools and aquatic centers. Golfing, pickleball, horseback riding, and a spa are also available.
The Village at Sunriver
Hub of Sunriver's grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques, plus activities like mini-golf. Some favorite spots include: Goodys, Sunriver Brewery, or Brewed Awakenings.
Bend
We definitely recommend a drive into Bend! Whether you're looking for shopping (boutiques along NW Wall St or at Old Mill District), restaurants and bars (Crux, River Pig, Deschutes Brewery, Wild Rose, Podski food trucks), parks (Drake Park), the cutest coffee shop ever (Dudley's), or the last Blockbuster, Bend has you covered. It's one of our favorite places for a reason. 25 minute drive from Sunriver.
Smith Rock State Park
Outdoor recreation area with rock climbing, hiking, and trail running. 45 minute drive from Sunriver.
Sisters
Of course have to include a cute little town! Sisters is a couple blocks full of cute coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants; plus, it's a 10 minute drive from Black Butte Ranch. A burger and milkshake from Sno Cap is a mandatory stop. 45 minute drive from Sunriver.
High Desert Museum
Local museum with rotating art exhibits, programs, and wildlife, including river otters, porcupines, and birds of prey. 10 minute drive from Sunriver.
