Kayla and Laura met originally in the 3rd and 4th grade playing upward basketball at First Baptist church of Arnold. We weren’t friends at the time but eventually came back around when meeting in ZAP youth group. We then were on the same team in 2015 at TOV and have been the closest since then. She has been with me through so many ups and downs and has been there to cheer me on and give me such wisdom. She has such a kind a gentle soul.

Austyn is that friend that you meet later in life that feels like you have known each other since childhood. Laura met her on her very first day at Southwest Baptist University. She was my welcome week orientation leader. We laughed, cried and lived together while away at college. She has been a friend who is trustworthy, fierce and is not afraid to stand for what is right. She has a heart of gold.

Kara has been a friend that has been by Laura’s side since 2015. They met at first Baptist in the youth group there but then found each other at ZAP youth group years later. Kara is a faithful, steadfast friend who inspires you to live and love life. It is a joy to know Kara
Tatyana

Tatyana has been in Laura’s life since 2015. We met at Fox high school in Sarah Meeks classroom. She eventually came to Zap youth group and have been friends ever since. Tatyana is a friend who is intentional, caring and is such a gentle soul. She is always in for amazing food and fills you with joy.
Luke Joggerst

Luke has known Grayson from their church his whole life but really connected with him more in college. Luke and Grayson have always hung out with each other but were in different social circles. As Luke went off to college Grayson and Luke started to call one another to catch up which later transitioned to late night video chats with their friends during the pandemic. Luke has always been an empathetic, passionate, humble, and a close friend throughout the years.

Shayne has known Grayson for two years that has seems like a lifelong friendship. Grayson began to connect with Shayne at his best man’s wedding. Shayne and Grayson went to similar social events, friend groups, and community groups growing closer throughout the years. They would catch up over the phone and for a drink sharing life events. Shayne is dependable, generous, hilarious, safe, and loving best friend to Grayson through the years.

Josiah has known Grayson since they were babies. Josiah and Grayson have bonded with many hobbies and interests over the years. They have been in each other’s lives with different youth groups, friend groups, and have been best friends ever since. Josiah always has a great sense of humor, loyal, stable, and kindhearted.
Augustus Teepe

Gus has known Grayson since middle school as his middle school youth leader at their church’s youth group but started to really connect 4 years ago with grabbing coffee every Wednesday morning. Grayson and Gus served at their church’s youth group for a few years complimenting each other’s leadership styles. Over the Wednesday morning chats, Grayson got to know Gus more deeply and share a lot of important life experiences. Gus is a resourceful, thoughtful, compassionate, and caring close friend to Grayson throughout the years.
