What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is semi formal. Short and long dresses are acceptable for women, but please no white:) For men, suits and sport coats are preferred, tux optional. The ceremony and reception will be held inside!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 3:30pm and 3:45 pm. The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:00 pm and should you arrive past 3:50, you will not be seated. Transportation is provided from University Baptist Church at 2:45 PM. Please see the travel tab for more information regarding the shuttles.

Is there parking for the Welcome Party?

Answer

The welcome party will be held at The Graduate Rooftop, which is close to the corner and our other hotel blocks. Since everything is within walking distance, we recommend walking if you’re staying nearby. Parking is limited, so walking or ride shares are the best options.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Only if "and guest" or your plus-one's name is written on your wedding invitation.

I'm staying at an Airbnb or at a different hotel, can I still take transportation to the wedding?

Answer

Yes and it's highly encouraged! Buses will be departing from University Baptist (1223 W. Main St., Charlottesville, Virginia) at 2:45 PM. This church is located between the Graduate and the Courtyard Marriott. One bus will depart the venue early at 8:15 PM, with the others departing at 10 PM.
