Meet The Wedding Party!

Caroline Absher

Maid of Honor

Caroline and Grayson met at 12 years of age, and bonded over their mutual dream to move to New York City work as artists. After being roommates at the SC Governor's School for the Arts, Caroline still jokes there is no one else with whom she could have shared a 10x10 concrete box. They stayed extremely close throughout their college years, despite the distance, and visited each other regularly in NYC and Boston. When Grayson first moved to New York, there was no one more appropriate to welcome her than her ride-or-die friend, Caroline Absher. They feel so incredibly grateful to have fulfilled their mutual dreams of living in NYC together and pursuing their arts professionally. Caroline is an incredibly talented painter and also works as an art director in the film industry in Brooklyn, NY.

Elizabeth Duska

Maid of Honor

Liz and Grayson met when they joined the a capella group at The Boston Conservatory - Grayson remembers Liz's audition like yesterday, and the second she left the room, Grayson yelled "I LOVE HER. We're going to be best friends." and she was right. While the a capella group never had much success, they are so incredibly thankful for the fates bringing them together. They remained best friends all through their college days, and despite living in different cities, they have always made a true effort to visit and catch up every month or so. Liz is a passionate Eagles and Red Sox fan (yes, you can be both). She received a Masters in Classical Voice and Music Education from the Boston Conservatory, and is currently a Voice Teacher and Singer in Philadelphia.

Lydia Barrett

Bridesmaid

Lydia is one of Grayson's oldest and dearest friends, dating back to the Governor's School days. Following Govie, Lydia and Grayson both went to college in Massachusetts and regularly made efforts to see each other throughout their years there. However, they agree that their "forever friendship" was sealed when Lydia decided to spend a summer in Madrid as an au pair, and invited Grayson to join. The girls had an unforgettable summer together, immersing themselves in a new language, new culture, new living situation, and new adventures traveling to different countries on the weekends. Lydia is currently pursuing a PHD in Ethnomusicology at USC Santa Cruz. She is still incredibly passionate about travel, and supporting the culture and art of lesser known areas of the world.

Makenzie Gomez

Bridesmaid

Makenzie and Grayson met their senior year of college, and are easily each others' closest friends and allies from the crazy days of musical theatre at The Boston Conservatory. They joke that they barely remember college without each other, and have no idea how they survived. Since then, they have lived together in NYC and been each others' greatest confidants in the realm of New York Life and the world of theatre. They worked every odd job NYC had to offer, and pounded the pavement together at 5am to audition for every next show. There was LOTS of coffee & wine, with laughs and tears along the way. They survived those years through mutual love, respect, and support every step of the way. Makenzie is still in Brooklyn, NY. She is an actor, choreographer, dance/acting teacher and activist.

Jill Clough

Bridesmaid

Jill and Grayson met "on contract" i.e. they were coworkers on a performing job. They spent a summer in gorgeous New Hampshire and became extremely close on their shared days off. Their goal was to always make their day off an adventure. They went hiking, zip-lining, drove the Kangamangus highway with very little gas, and saw 2 bears and a moose in one day! Jill is the most positive, goofy and exciting person you're bound to meet; she makes every day an adventure. Following that Summer, they remained extremely close, and Jill actually became Harry and Grayson's roommate in NYC, where there were more adventures, mismatched outfits, silly schemes and bubbles. Jill is now a Vermont Resident. She is passionate about the outdoors, theater, and working with children.

Toni Gardner

Bridesmaid

Toni and Grayson met "on contract" where Toni played Cinderella and Grayson played Tinkerbell at a charming theme park in New Hampshire. It was a LONG summer of laughs, tears, dealing with kids, big personalities and every type of weather under the sun, but they made it through it all extremely close friends. They spent the following two years together auditioning in NYC, sharing odd jobs, taking dance classes, and becoming brunch experts. They often can still be found in SoHo together with an Aperol Spritz and/or Mimosa in hand (sorry if they are loud, that's just how excited they are to be together. I doubt it will ever change, so best to not mention it). Toni is currently pursuing a Graduate Degree at Columbia University in social work.

Madison Kate Proffitt

Bridesmaid

Another survivor of The Boston Conservatory, Madison Kate Proffitt was Grayson's first friend of college and has remained a close confidant ever since. They bonded very quickly in their freshman dorms over their similar music and film taste. They actually went to see Ben Folds at the House of Blues their first month of school, and took one of Grayson's favorite ever trips together to Osheaga, a music festival in Montreal. In their time at school, they got themselves into a reasonable amount of trouble along with Liz Duska after establishing the tradition of Womens' Wednesdays. They continued a close relationship after college and were roommates for two years in NYC. Madison is an extremely talented musician and songwriter, doing her thing in Brookyln, NY.

Maggie Price

Bridesmaid

Maggie is Harry's sister, and has been such a lovely and supportive future-sister-in-law to Grayson. The two quickly bonded over fashion, food, and making fun of Harry. Grayson is so thrilled to have Maggie in her life and cannot wait to officially call her a sister. She admires her carefree and confident attitude, along with her passion and skill as an artist. Maggie is a recent Grad of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She loves Art History, Journalism, Travel, and Culture - so much so that she writes for various periodicals on the subjects. Following Grayson & Harry's engagement, Maggie has now agreed to be tied as the favorite woman in Harry's life.

Rebekah and Rachel Baldree

Bridesmaids

Rebekah and Rachel are Grayson's cousins, but they've always felt much more like sisters. Throughout their childhood, they would play together for hours in the acres of woods behind Paige and TL's house. They played everything from house, to princesses, to rock band, to explorers. They are all left-handed, a trait that they share with their favorite person in the world - their grandmother Ruthie. They are eternally grateful for Ruthie for so many reasons, but most importantly, for teaching them to love each other like sisters and always look after each other, through thick and thin. After Ruthie's passing, they have continued to cherish their closeness even more, believing that when they are all together, they feel Ruthie's presence in each other.

Kenny Price

Best Man

Kenny is Harry’s older brother. Being roughly 2 years apart, Harry & Kenny grew up very close. Harry credits Kenny with introducing him to what is now some of his favorite music, and as a skilled photographer inspired Harry to embrace his own unique creativity. Now working as a chef, he lives with his wife, Sam, in Western Massachusetts, where she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. They enjoy traveling and photography together, and taking care of their 6 cats, including many fosters that they love to care for as well. Harry is extremely proud and excited to have Kenny as his Best Man.

Mike Nicolia

Best Man

Mike & Harry met in 10th and 11th grade, respectively, at the all-male boarding school Avon Old Farms, in Avon, CT. Bonding over Mike’s outlandish impersonations of various faculty members at the school, Harry & Mike became fast friends through their mutual love and appreciation for music and comedy. Both cultivating a true passion for each, they’ve performed extensively on their own, and even worked together to put on shows in NYC. Mike now lives and works in Long Island, NY, performing and booking comedy shows whenever possible. After 12+ years of close friendship, Harry is excited and flabbergasted to have Mike as another Best Man.

Alex Florez

Groomsman

Alex & Harry met in middle school in Madison, NJ. After initially meeting on the soccer team and taking Spanish together, they recognized a shared sense of humor, and affinity for Super Smash Brothers on Nintendo64. After that, it was countless hours of playing ping-pong and riding their bikes to the community pool. Harry & Alex reconnected while they were both living in New York, where Alex currently lives - there, he is a teacher, an avid improv performer, and budding voice actor.

John Dimieri

Groomsman

John & Harry have known each other since the first week of 5th grade. After moving to Madison, NJ, and starting at a new school, John was the first to welcome Harry, giving him a tour of the school itself and inviting him to his house to hang out and meet his friends. Remaining close ever since, Harry & John reconnected while living in NYC. The two have attended a laundry list of live concerts and comedy shows together in the city, and look forward to the chance to do so again.

Matt Desalvo

Groomsman

Matt & Harry met in elementary school in Madison, NJ. The two played soccer together for the Madison Dynamite - a team who, more often than not, was less than dynamite. Now in adulthood, they’ve bonded more over music and guitar playing, along with working in different sectors of the same industry. Matt now lives in Jersey City, NJ with his lovely and hilarious girlfriend Lizzie, where he works for a market research firm in Manhattan, NY.

Nick Paprocki

Groomsman

Harry & Nick met through Jake Ohlbaum when Jake recruited Harry as a guitar player in his band. As someone pursuing a legitimately useful college degree, Nick responsibly decided to prioritize his academics, creating the space for Harry to step in as lead guitar player. With absolutely zero bitterness between them, Harry & Nick remained close friends through this transition, and have kept in touch with each other’s lives and careers since their paths first crossed. Nick has been working as a campaign manager for several notable politicians. He currently lives in the Orlando, FL area, where he works innumerable hours, all while trying to soak up as much sun as possible.

Jake Ohlbaum

Groomsman

Jake & Harry were introduced by mutual friend Alex Huston (who, as you’ll read in his bio, also introduced the Bride & Groom!). Initially casual friends and classmates at Berklee, Jake eventually recruited Harry as a guitar player for his band, the Black Moons. The two became close friends performing together, while Jake honed his songwriting prowess. He now lives in Nashville, TN, where he has been touring regularly with the band The Foxies, and is a songwriter signed to Round Hill Music publishing.

Christian Wilder

Groomsman

Christian & Harry met while playing together in their college band, the Black Moons. Christian is a rockin’ keys player, having been a touring member of the alt-country band the Michigan Rattlers for the past few years after graduating from the Berklee College of Music. Harry & Christian have always bonded through music, along with a shared sense of humor and some friendly GameCube competition.

Richie Pace

Groomsman

Richie & Harry met in Boston in 2013 -- records in hand, and a guitar on his back, Harry was mistaken for a local composer by Richie, leading to a conversation about music and guitar gear that ultimately ended in the pair recording an album together within a year. Seeming to be cosmically bound to run into one another, Harry almost physically bumped Richie while he was busking on a subway platform during his first weekend as a Brooklyn resident in 2017. Harry has always admired Richie’s boundless creative energy, and acts as his sounding board (literally and figuratively) for all creative ideas and endeavors. Richie now lives in Cambridge, MA, where he works as a Software Engineering Recruiter for Facebook, and continues to write music relentlessly.

Alex Huston

Groomsman

Alex & Harry met as neighbors during their first semester at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Being two of many guitar players at the school, they became friends quickly, with Alex eventually touring New England with the hard rock band Prospect Hill. Alex has always been a remarkably loyal friend, volunteering to help Harry move apartments at the drop of a hat, and later being a confidant for physical health and overall wellbeing. Perhaps most importantly, after inviting Grayson to a get-together at Harry’s place, Alex was the one who introduced the bride & groom for the first time! Having since retired from his matchmaking career, Alex now lives and works in Nashville, TN, where he continues his craft as a local producer/musician, and a freelance marketing consultant.
