Hannah and I were both at a point in our lives where we were each searching for love but had yet to find each other, so we both ended up searching online through an app called Hinge. My opening line to her was a simple, "Howdy," and we hit it off from there! We decided our first date should be in College Station, and finally got to meet in Barnes and Noble! We found a few books and then went to dinner in downtown Bryan at the Proudest Monkey, followed by playing pool at a bar called Poets. When the night came to an end, we reluctantly got in our separate cars to return to our distant small towns. The first few miles, we were driving in the same direction through arguably the heaviest rainstorm that year. Just before our ways parted was one last red light. I jumped out of my truck and went over to her car to give her one more kiss goodbye. We both still feel as though our first date together was straight out of a romantic comedy. I know we both remember that evening almost every day. It was the beginning of our being inseparable.
