Grayson and I first met back in 2016 during high school, he was a senior and I was a freshman. We had a team sports class together and became friends but after he graduated, life took us in different directions, and we lost touch. Fast forward eight years to my senior year of college… I started noticing Grayson posting Instagram polls about where he was flying. In true fashion, I answered them all... incorrectly... for two weeks straight, secretly hoping he’d notice. One night, I mentioned it to my friend Chloe (who also had team sports with us), and gave her the full rundown. She convinced me to do something totally out of character, so I sent him a random Snapchat after eight years of not talking. A week later, we went on our first date and the rest is history! God truly works in the craziest ways, but I am so thankful for how He redirected our paths at just the perfect time. I had prayed for him to bring me the girl of my dreams, someone who would love me through the good, the bad, and everything in between. Avery is that person and so much more.
