Our story began with a swipe—and a spark. We met on a dating app and quickly connected over shared values, lots of laughter, and the feeling that something special was unfolding. Not long after, Ben was deployed to the Texas border. While it wasn’t the easiest start, we were both committed to making it work. Through long-distance calls, care packages, and lots of patience, our connection only deepened. When Ben returned, he moved to Springfield to start a new job. Lizzie continued her law school studies, and we braved long-distance a little longer until she moved in with Ben in January 2025. That’s when we officially began our life together—learning, growing, and turning our house into a home. On May 10, 2025, Ben proposed—and Lizzie said yes! We’re so excited to start this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
