Black-tie. For ladies, we suggest a floor-length gown/formal cocktail dress. For gentlemen, we suggest a tuxedo/dark suit.

We kindly request an adults only celebration to allow all guests to relax and enjoy the evening with us.

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Foundation For the Carolinas + The Carolina Theatre are conveniently located in Uptown Charlotte. The venue is easily accessible by car or rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, with drop-off zones at the entrance for added ease. Self-parking is available in the Truist Parking Garage, which has entrances on 161 E 6th St and 129 E 5th St. Bring your parking ticket inside for validation.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating. Please keep in mind that traffic and parking in Uptown Charlotte can be unpredictable, so plan accordingly. Guests will not be permitted to enter the ceremony after 6:00pm. Thank you in advance for arriving on time, we’re so excited to celebrate with you!
