Bride
Taylor was born in Oklahoma in 1994. At the age of 9, she moved to Boone, North Carolina and considers it her home town. This mountain girl moved from NC to Tennessee in 2014 when her little Emmett was 9 months old. She bought her first home in 2018 where the couple currently resides. Her son Emmett is 8 years old. She loves being outdoors, reading, writing, crafting, and playing video games. She is currently enrolled in Full Sail University where she is working towards her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.
Groom
A Tennessee man through and through. Born in Nashville in 1993, Daniel spent his first several years there before moving to Greenbrier. Greenbrier is where he lived when he met Taylor. Daniel is a heavy machinery mechanic for Sunstate Equipment. He is also a drag racer. (Just ask him about if you’ve got a few hours to kill.) He’s had his dog, Dro, for 16+ years, and he’s still kicking. Daniel enjoys hiking, working on cars, drag racing, anything he can take apart, and playing video games.
Maid of Honor
Hannah is Taylor’s little sister. Though they’re 4 years apart and fought as children, they’ve become thick as thieves in their adult lives. Hannah was also born in Oklahoma and currently resides in Tennessee. Hannah grew up a Tom-boy and could usually be found in a tree as a child. She loves spending time with family, and her friends mean the world to her. She can usually be found hanging out with friends or playing a game whether a video game or being a Dungeon Master of her Dungeons and Dragons group. Taylor could not think of a better person to be her maid-of-honor.
Best Man
Brad is Daniel’s best friend. The boys have been best friends since high school. They played in band together and always got into trouble together. They found out later in life that Brad’s dad and Daniel’s mom actually used to work together when the boys were really young. Brad and Daniel may not see each other as much as they would like, but they know they can count on the other to be there when it matters. Daniel couldn’t think of a better man to stand with him as his best man.
Bridesmaid
Lord, where to start with this woman. Haha. Chelsea has known Taylor since they lived on Bacone College Campus when they were children. Most of the time, you could find them at the local skating ring every Friday night. Chelsea and her family quickly became an adoptive family for Taylor and her family. The girls consider themselves sisters, and Chelsea is like the big sister Taylor never had. They lost touch when Taylor moved to North Carolina, but reconnected on Facebook and have been in touch ever since. Taylor is honored to have her "big sister" be once of her bridesmaids.
Groomsman
Kenny is Daniel’s big brother. They’re four years apart. They fought like cats and dogs growing up, but they love each other. They might seem like polar opposites, but they both share a love of soccer. Daniel is proud of the accomplishments that Kenny has made in his life and is proud to have him walk down the aisle with him.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Taylor have been friends since the 5th grade. Taylor was a new student that year, and when Amanda saw her sitting alone, she decided to be her friend. Amanda confessed when they were in high school that it was because she thought Taylor was pretty. Something the two laugh about now along with their orange juice pulp inside joke. Amanda and Taylor were friends all through high school and have continued their friendship through adulthood. As one of Taylor's longest and best friends, she couldn't be more honored to have Amanda as one of her bridesmaids.
Groomsman
Daniel has known Tyler since they were both young boys running around at the drag racing track. They quickly became friends and are now competitors themselves. They both root each other on on Saturdays at the track. Tyler has even driven Daniel and his dad’s car from time to time. There’s an inside joke that Tyler isn’t allowed to drive it anymore because something always breaks when he does. Daniel is proud to have Tyler as one of his groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and Taylor met at the Habitat Restore when Taylor was doing her "sweat equity" (volunteering) requirements for getting her Habitat for Humanity house. That was five years ago, and the pair are still good friends. Though they don't see each other as much because of well, life, they both know they can count on the other. Taylor and Jessica clicked right away, and they're open and honest friendship has made them really good friends. They give each other grace when spending time together or talking because they know that even though they don't talk every day, they are still in each other's corner. Taylor is honored to have Jessica walk down the aisle with her, and even if Jessica's health won't allow the actual walking down the aisle, she will always be honored as a bridesmaid to Taylor.
Groomsman
Better known to his friends and coworkers as Cornbread, Wayne and Daniel have a running “joke” that they call each other their husbands. When Daniel started at TDOT in 2018, he and Wayne quickly became two peas in a pod. Though Daniel has moved on from the State, he still keeps in contact with his hubby. Daniel couldn’t think of a more genuine person to walk down the aisle with him.
