FAQs

Here are some questions we are expecting, but we are happy to answer any others you may have. We are more than happy to assist with any questions when it comes to lodging/travel/anything big or small!
Question

Registry

Answer

We have a honeymoon fund through Zola and Venmo on our registry page. For our Bermudian friends and family, our BNTB information is 0600116220031. We also have a registry at the Chef Shop. https://chefshopbermuda.shop/apps/giftregistry/registry/293693

Question

Bermuda Travel

Answer

You need a valid passport as it is an international destination. No visas necessary you will just need to fill out an arrival card which is available here: https://www.bermudaarrivalcard.com/

Question

Transportation On Island

Answer

We recommend downloading the "Hitch" app on your phones before arrival. This is how you can call taxis (similar to Uber) and pay for them via credit card. Otherwise, you can hail a taxi as you would regularly, but they typically only accept cash. If you plan to do exploring of your own, we recommend renting an electric vehicle. While you can't rent cars, these little vehicles are a safe alternative to mopeds! (If you are feeling adventurous - mopeds are also an option but we would prefer you rent an electric car.) Oleander Cycles (Cars/Mopeds): https://www.oleandercycles.bm/ Current Vehicles: https://www.currentvehicles.com/ Rugged Rentals: https://www.ruggedrentalsbda.com/

Question

Kids

Answer

We love your kids! Unfortunately, unless your children were explicitly invited, please do not bring them to the actual wedding! Please reach out to Emily if you need help with babysitting in Bermuda.

Question

Currency

Answer

In Bermuda, almost everywhere will accept major credit cards. We also accept US cash everywhere, so no need to exchange before you arrive! We recommend taking out some petty cash before you leave to have just in case.

Question

Bermuda Customs and Things to Know

Answer

Gratuities are usually included at all bars/restaurants but always double check. You can drink the tap water. Wearing a bathing suit not on the beach or by the pool is not appropriate. We are friendly - everyone will say hi to you on the street! Say hi back!

Question

Weather

Answer

October is very hit or miss in Bermuda. We are of course hopeful for sunshine, but prepare for rain and wind.
