FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30PM. In order to have time to settle, plan to arrive half an hour to 15 minutes early. There is a gate that will be closed at 4:20 until after ceremony to ensure no interruptions. NOTE* Norland is in cottage country and can get busy on weekends. I recommend keeping that in mind for travel and accommodation.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

No registry! Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon/home fund would be warmly appreciated.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only if formally invited or confirmed personally with Stella or Graydon.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event is semi-formal. Suits, cocktail dresses and gowns are all welcome. Think fancy summer garden party! *Event will take place outside. Wedge heels are recommended for grass and a light jacket may be needed for night time.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be marked parking at the entrance.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see our Travel page. There are nearby hotels and Air BnBs. We are also offering camping on the property. *Note if you plan to camp: although there will be distance between the reception tent and camping area, you may be able to hear music late that night. Although we plan to be considerate - we will be celebrating with a party! If you're a sensitive sleeper, you may want earplugs.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Nope! We will be up celebrating late into the night. If you plan on camping on the property - the Bride and Groom will not be there in the morning. There will be no activities the next morning, until clean up crew rolls in! Please feel free to sleep in - but leave no trace once you leave.
