Where to begin…Chase and I met at a local hangout in Crawfordville one Saturday night. We exchanged a few words, but didn’t speak or see one another again until about 6 months later. Chase kept popping up it seemed like wherever I was hanging out on the weekends…it was almost like someone was following me ;) Well a few weeks past, numbers were given and our first “outing” was good ole bogs and boulders. After that we were inseparable and he “officially” asked me to be his girlfriend on a trip to Nashville (that trip is a whole other story haha)
Most of you that know us, know that Chase works in California building power lines. He came home at the end of April in 2021 to watch me graduate from Flagler College and move me across the country with him. My bestie, Jordyn, asked me if I wanted to go to dinner and take pictures before I moved. So on a Friday evening we met up in Thomasville at the rose garden to snap a few pictures. If y’all know me you know I can get hangry…and if you know Jordyn you know she can take forever taking pictures. Of course I’m over trying to find the “perfect” spot to take pictures and I knew Thomasville got super busy on Friday’s. So my face in some of these pictures was not the best haha. Jordyn told Chase and I to take some pictures and as I turn around for one of them..yep you guessed it! He was on one knee asking if I would marry him. The best answer I could come up with at first was “are you sure?!” followed by a very teary “YES!”
