They first met briefly at a small Mexican restaurant in Oahu—just a quick conversation, a smile, and then we went their separate ways. He is from Houston, Texas she was from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It felt like nothing at the time.
But later, they reconnected and discovered they shared the same love for music. Oldies music at that. That’s what brought them back together.
At a Sunday Funday outing in Hawaii, with music playing and the ocean nearby, they finally spent real time together when Gray picked all the meat off Greg pizza. What started as casual conversation and a generous thought turned into something deeper.
