COVID-19 made us all change how we lived and one change brought on a move for Heather back to Laurinburg, NC. Her friend Dan English was thrilled at the news of his BFM teacher friend coming back to Scotland High School. Joe quickly realized that the new girl was his classroom neighbor. He reached out and they both realized that they had attended SHS at the same time. But as all independent women do, Heather left Joe waiting on a response as she worked on updating her new home. Joe was not accepting defeat and continued to pursue his newest colleague. It paid off as Heather found herself wanting to eat lunch every day with Joe. We decided to go out on a date together. But what date isn’t complete without a mission of delivering a birthday card to a grandma? Heather knew instantly that this was a man she wanted to spend more time with and her travel partner. Joe knew after such a great first date, he would be spending more time with Heather. Independent home projects turned into shared memories. Heather’s home became a little smaller, but full of laughter. This is when they knew it was more than just temporary happiness, instead it was forever. Joe proposed in the barn with the help of the kids and Heather accepted also with the direction of the children. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you and to see what’s in store in their next chapters.
