Maid of Honor
Ah yes, Sarah's loving antagonist. From high speed tickle chases, to incredible playroom creations, to arguments about what the best sleeping accommodations were - She's always been the wild one to push cautious Sarah out of her comfort zone. If you need a pep talk, Anna is the girl to call. I will definitely be receiving one on The Big Day.
Best Man
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. - Proverbs 27:17 One of the deepest and most sincere people we've ever met, Zachariah James Besky has been a great friend to Ross (and Sarah) for years. His theatrical ridiculous and yet awe-inspiring self is quite a thing to behold.
Bridesmaid
Lenabear (Len-Ah-ber) and I met in college, by chance became roommates and the rest is history! Our room always had some kind of ridiculous shenanigans happening whether it be tears, uncontrollable laughter, pretzel lunges, or sharing our love for Jesus. This girl is pure gold.
Groomsman
Joe has put up with Ross for 22 years and still seems to like him. Not sure how that happened. From arguing over who owned the robotic tiger (it was me BTW, and I still want it back) to racing go-karts around our horse ranch, growing up with Joe was never dull.
Bridesmaid
Becky swooped in and adopted me as her little St. Olaf first year in 2014. She's always been a big sis who inspires me to keep on being steady in the pursuit of my passions. Our apartment NEVER lacks brownies and ice cream with a good Parks and Rec or How I Met Your Mother episode.
Groomsman
Dan has become a more recent friend of Ross and Sarah, but has quickly become the legendary “Dan the Man”. Married to Gladys (Bridal Attendant), he has been a relational support and friend since Day One.
Bridesmaid
This woman is amazing. She's been a companion through some of my dark times, cheered me on in some of the brightest and inspires me by what a mama she is to her five daughters. Alex brings joy and light into every place she goes.
Groomswoman
From rafting on the Deschutes River with 40 high schoolers to serving the homeless in Portland OR, Ross and Nina grew close through their experiences interning together and living in Sisters OR. Their faith walks have grown and stretched each other, and continue to today.
Flower Girl
This little girl screams joy and color. I met her the day after she was born and fell in love. Whenever she sees Ross or Sarah (or any friend) she shouts the 3 yr old version of your name with SJ sunshine beaming from her face.
Ring Bearer
Quite the ladies man, Ryder is Ross’s “nephew”. He loves dinosaurs and his mom more than anything in this world, and he looks ADORABLE when he’s all dressed up
Bridal Attendant
Gladys has recently become a close friend of mine. Her warm kindness is what first drew me in, her absolute hilarity made me stay. Our chats include a Disney Princess mug or outfit, an exclamation about a squirrel, empowerment talks, Jesus, and being thankful for the pretty sweet men we get to both call hubby soon.
Officiant
Jared was Ross’s youth pastor back in Oregon. He helped steward Ross’s young faith and push him to grow. The bets are on the table whether he’ll wear a cowboy hat to the ceremony
