Maid of Honor
How did Ashley & I meet? I couldn't tell you! Ashley has been my built in best friend since I was born. Technically she is my older cousin but really is the closest thing I've ever had to a sister! Even living most of our lives in different states (except for a brief time in CA before I moved to AZ) we have remained as close as can be. She recently moved to SD & I couldn't be more excited. This is the closest we have lived to each other since 2000! There was no hesitation to ask Ashley to be my Maid of Honor. She has always been one of the smartest & most beautiful women I have ever met. Last summer we checked off a bucket list item together by traveling to Spain & France and now this summer she will help me check off another by standing next to me on David & I's big day. -Brittanelbow

Thank you Jake! For bringing the cutest little spit fire into my life! Emily is my future SISTER-in-law but I have been lucky enough to call her family for 8 years. Not only is she going to officially be family soon but she is also one of my closest confidants. From dreaming about our futures (family trips, careers, kiddos) to opinions & advice when we're needing support, I know that whatever we are talking about Emily always has my best interests at heart. One of my favorite memories that supports the fact that we will have each others back through it all was when we went paint-balling with our boys. As soon as the whistle blew, they were gone. Despite it being absolutely terrifying, Emily & I made it through the entire game together! So, thanks for having my back on 8.22.20 too Em! -Bird

"Baby Rach" was literally born a golden blonde goddess and nothing has really changed since? She took over my position as the youngest girl in the family when she was born but honestly I think she executed her role with flying colors. Rachel will have you wrapped around her finger from the first time you meet her. She is sassy, smart and one of the funniest people I know. Rachel is above all else, entertaining. From when she was just a young pizz writing her name in sharpie on Sugars water bowl and under our kitchen table (we didn't find that one for a few years) to letting me dress her up & do her makeup like my real life barbie doll, she has made life more fun since the day she came into it. I am so lucky we are cousins & I can't wait for her wedding in October! -Britt

It's easier to grow up when you have such a perfect example to look up to! Morgan has always been the biggest role model in my life. Anything I go through, chances are my older cousin has some pretty good advice to give on it. We joke that we are so similar in life experiences, I'm just 4 years delayed! Some of my favorite memories with Morgan are talking in bed until sunrise on the first night together after a while, staying with her in college for spring break when she lived in San Diego and being a bridesmaid for her wedding. She's has always set the bar high for us younger cousins to follow and she definitely did the same with her wedding, I only hope David & I's is just as fun as her and Adrians! Here's to the second generation Dagrade girls! -B

Everyone knows how special our Camp house in Harrisville is to me & when I think of my memories of Camp growing up, Megan is in every one of them. She has been my partner in frog catching since day one & more recently my style icon! Meg is by far the most loyal person in my life & I have the greatest story to prove it. Jake, Justin, Megan & I (me being the oldest responsible cousin) casually took the tin boat out to Blueberry Island summer of 2009 to go eat our picnic lunch & to shoot some birds. I wont go into details or point fingers **cough cough Jake** but we ended up with a very close call of almost burning Blueberry Island down. Little 8 year old Megan kept that secret until not long ago when we all finally confessed to the parents. Megan, you are my fav little secret keeper! -Britt

Did I get lucky with my random suite-mate freshman year of college or what! I am even more lucky to say that I ended up with a life long friend. Sarah is definitely my favorite thing to come out of attending UA for 2 years! Even when I transferred universities & she moved states for her Masters Degree, we always kept in touch. It has been so fun having her back in AZ, she even brought a boy home with her! In 2011 we were having study nights, going to frat parties & planning spring break trips together. Now in 2020 we are both engaged to the greatest guys, planning our weddings & future house hunting together. I couldn't ask for a better friend & I am so glad that the older we get , the stronger our friendship becomes. I can't wait to help make your big day just as special for you! -Penry
