WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to hold a private marriage ceremony alongside close friends and family on Sunday, May 17, 2020, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. While we were looking forward to celebrating with you, we feel it's best to prioritize the health and safety of our loved ones at this time. Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this uncertain time. We are grateful that you are a part of our journey!

In 2012, while students of Southern Adventist University, we met in Argentina through the Adventist Colleges Abroad program. After returning to the US a year later, our friendship grew very close over the next couple of years. In 2017, we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend after a date at the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens.

For Grant's fall vacation/birthday we decided to take a trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico with our best friends. The day before Grant's birthday, we took a boat tour to Isla Mujeres, and it was there that Grant got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. The first thing that came out of my mouth was, "Does my mom know?!" But the second thing I said was YES!!!!!!!!
