The first time I saw Madison, I was working the night shift at Arkansas Children's. I happened to spot her working in our step-down unit. She didn't share any of my patients that night, but oh boy, did I make every effort to get her to notice me. I walked by the nurses' desk way more times than necessary and kept “checking in” to see if anyone needed help. My crowning achievement? Accidentally picking up her phone. We locked eyes, and she very politely pointed out my mistake. Smooth operator? Not even close. But it was a stroke of dumb luck, because from the second I apologized, I knew I had to get to know her. It took about 10 months, several awkward chance encounters in the hallways, and way too much time suspiciously "liking" her pictures on social media for me to finally gain the courage to slide into her DMs. To my utter shock, she said YES to a first date!! The rest, well, has brought us here. We are so excited to celebrate our love and our future with the most important people in our lives. We look forward to sharing this day with you all!
