Alec and I met at an event between our fraternity and sorority at Indiana-University Purdue-University of Indianapolis (IUPUI). Alec a part of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity and Hannah a part of Alpha Chi Omega (AXO) sorority. I was introduced to Alec by a sorority sister. We were both sober security for the event. Making sure nothing got out of hand of course but we were pretty consumed in our own conversation. We talked all night in the kitchen. Alec trying to impress me, took a pretty hard slap from a fraternity brother. It was funny to say the least. At the end of the event we parted ways making sure we had each other’s phone number's. Alec texted me within minutes of leaving the event. We talked all night and the rest is history. Our first date was at Olive Garden a short time after meeting. We progressively started spending more time together on IUPUI campus by attending each other's TKE and AXO events and even library dates to study.
