Grant and Susannah met senior year at Palm Desert High School in Chambers Choir. Throughout the year they became friends and made memories together singing, hanging out with friends, and exploring Washington D.C. during a choir trip. After high school they stayed in touch a bit. Two years out of high school they Skyped each other to catch up. Afterwards, Susannah told her roommates Grant was “the one that got away” because he was the perfect guy. Fast forward to 9 years out of high school and their choir teacher was about to retire. Susannah invited the old choir to come back for one more concert to support their beloved teacher. When they saw each other for the first time in 7+ years at that concert, sparks flew. On the way home from the concert, Grant told his family Susannah was “wifey material”. Since that summer in 2023, Grant and Susannah have been head over heels for each other. They’re both still in awe on a daily basis that they found such a loving and perfect match in each other.
